I have limited availability for one-to-one developmental editing and coaching, and I do prefer to work with writers who have taken at least one of my workshops. My rate for coaching is $100/hour. Generally, one to two hours will buy one of the following: 

An in-depth conversation, specific to your book and writing life, about what to do even before you look for a literary agent, how to find the right agent and/or publisher, and the basics of writing a great query letter.

In-depth review of your first fifteen pages, complete with track comments about what's working and what isn't working. I'll also provide 1-2 typed pages (single spaced) of feedback to serve as a roadmap. I'll discuss what's working and what could be stronger in regards to character development, pacing, plot development, dialogue, setting, and narrative arc.
